Abstract
Medical interventions like Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), which has far reaching effects on human existence are constantly developing. While these medical interventions may bring advantages to people, by way of opportunity to sustain their lineages through childbearing, they are also changing and modifying society in more significant ways. However, as sciences have advanced, traditional norms of conception and parenthood have been challenged while reproductive ethics and law struggle to keep pace. Controversies and debate have also arisen within the law as to the legality of this reproductive technology. This paper focuses on ascertaining whether there is any law regulating the practice of ART in Nigeria.Â
